Welcome, welcome…
Welcome, welcome. As you can see, we’ve made it “all up in the interwebs”, as some other popular South African artists might put it. We now have a page, and despite my suggestion of naming it ‘Jimmy’ being shot down, we’re all rather pleased with it.
So, the internet then, how does it work? I haven’t the foggiest, but thankfully Jason does. He also knows how design works, along with a great deal of other things, which is really convenient. From what I’ve managed to figure out, he designed the page and then summoned the mystical and majestic internet unicorn to carry it back to internet-land. Obviously there were more steps involved, but I’m pretty sure that’s the gist of it.
Now that we’ve dealt with the technical aspects, let’s cover what this page is all about. Have a click around. You’ll find some bios, links, upcoming gigs and all sorts of bejuslik things to gander at. One of the main things we’ll be using this site for is posts like this one. You’ll be able to read the interesting, the relevant, the inane and the entirely arbitrary; whatever one of us deems important to share with you.
In other news, we’ve got two gigs coming up this month – La Cabane on the 25th and Mercury on the 28th. We’ll put times and stuff up on Facebook shortly. It’s a bit of a hectic time, what with exams and all, but we’ll be picking things up in June/July and hopefully getting into studio again soon too. More on that closer to the time.
That was that, the first post of many. If there’s anything in you’d like to hear about or something you’re interested in that you’d like us to write about, just holla. We’ll make a plan.
Koo.
