Good morrow, all!

Welcome to the resurfacing of Forefront!

It’s been quite a while, but I’m back, and we’re back to give you a treat.
For a good couple of months people would be like “Hey man, how is the band?” And I’d just be like, “Uuuuh, yeah it’s going great, we’re busy finishing off an EP.” And have nothing to show for it.

But now there’s a song 😐

And a super cool bonus 😐

And photies 😐

I’m going to start with the photies. On top of the fact that we’ve had a whoooole load of material to track and release, we still did some shoots and put a bit of a compilation together on our website gallery. In some of the photos, we don’t even look THAT stupid 🙂  #checkitout #YOLO

All our hard work has finally started to come together, and we’re starting to seriously see (or rather hear) the results. And as far as I’m concerned, now that JD and Rob Burger have had their hands on it for a few days, these results would get us into university.

At least have our applications be considered.

So, the main event is “Walls”. Production for this started with our drum and bass recording sessions at the Neve at SAE earlier this year, and guitar and vocals were tracked at Jason’s house. JD and Nick found a kick ass picture of Rous jamming out, and shooped up a mad cool design for the artwork. Those of you who pull through to our gigs every now and again will know that this is our opening song and is a frequent part of our set, but we’ve never had a recorded version. Now we do, and we’re stoked. Please give it a listen, and if you enjoy it, spread it around like chicken pox at a preschool. We’ve got more of this sort of stuff coming, keep an eye out 😀

Our super cool highly anticipated (I think more for us than anyone else) release is “Shawtay.”

One afternoon, very long ago, Nick and I heard the electro track Jason was putting together for a project, so we capitalised and created our own R&B song. We’ve had it hiding away in the labyrinth of Jason’s computer for the last year or so, and it’s about time it makes a public appearance. Even if it may just be a parody 🙂

And who knows, if you guys like it, maybe we’d play around wth a couple more of them 🙂

On another note:
CONGRATS TO ERRBODDEH WHO’S DONE WITH EXAMS, AT SCHOOL OR AT UNI, THE PARTY IS BEGINNING BOYYYYYYYY.

And if any of you are around Plett Rage from Saturday until the 8th, let me know what’s going on and meet me out for a jol, would be cool to catch up.
