I know. It’s been a while.

A good… Long while.

Now I am telling you that we’re back with our first gig of the year at Zula Bar this Wednesday (16 Jan, 2013, just in case you wanted to put that date on your calendar or list of things you totally have to do) for Early Bird Wednesdays! FREE ENTRY (c’mon, seriously.) 4 BANDS –

9pm – Jesse And The Process
10pm – Set For The Sky
11pm – Forefront (that’s us, in case you were weren’t sure)
12pm – Elusive Moose

Jason has been hard at work mixing, recording vox with Nicky and me, and putting together some serious new backing track stuff for our latest performance. You’ll be hearing some cool new arrangements, different material and you’ll even see me playing keys a couple of times!

News will be up soon as we’ve got some cool gigs for the next couple of months at some cool venues, V&A Amphitheater, an outdoor spot hosted by The Russian along with some others. Our EP launch in Feb is going to be the big one.

With little recording and mixing left to do, photography concepts finalized and a bit of stuff we’re probably going to forget about until a week before release, actual release is imminent. The exact date and venue of the launch party are still to be announced, but keep an eye out for news in one of the next few posts and make sure you’re in Cape Town in mid February. Why would you want to miss out?

IN OTHER NEWS Nick’s going to be strutting his intellectual stuff at Vega next year studying a BBM (yes, I’ve already told him he has a PhD in texting and it’s not necessary to study further) and I’ll be joining Jay and Rous at UCT in the Commerce faculty. Yes, it seems, all good things do come to an end. Even gap years. At least it’s still a while until we start. 🙂

Unlucky for the kiddliwinks who start on Wednesday though! I’m sure you’ll be able to pull through, there is light at the end of the tunnel.

In conclusion, pull through on Wednesday, it will be cool, bring some friends, if you don’t have any you’re bound to make some at Zula Bar.

Or I’ll be your friend. I don’t have any either.
